Welcome message + colouring/icon tutorial

COLOURING TUTORIAL #1

We will be making this: into:

*The blue text is just extra notes//the normal white text is exactly how I have done it.

01. Get your base/picture. Depending on how dark your picture is you may want to set it to Screen, 100%. I didn't.
02. Curves (Layer»New Adjustment Layer»Curves...)
I know some people find curves difficult but don't worry, they're not. If you're new with curves open up another picture and play around a bit until you get what you like. I've made it easier by colour coding the dots instead of calling them 'point one' etc. Back to the tutorial, you need to follow these two screencaps (click for full view):

02. Levels (Layer»New Adjustment Layer»Levels...)
Use these settings:

04. Selective Colouring (Layer»New Adjustment Layer»Selective Color...)

REDS: Cyan: -100
          Yellow: +9
YELLOWS: Cyan: +26
            Yellow: +20
NEUTRALS: Cyan: +19
           Yellow: -33

05. Hue/Saturation (Layer»New Adjustment Layer»Hue/Saturation...)
Saturation: +35

And we're done! If you have any questions, ask me. If it hasn't turned out how you wanted it to, try duplicating or deleting one or two layers or do anything you want with it to make it better. Hope this helped :)
